Agricultural Quarantine Officer of Yos Sudarso Seaport Working Area successfully thwarted the entry of 10 live adult fighting cocks came from Bitung Seaport of North Sulawesi. The effort began with information from animal quarantine officer of BKP Class I Manado who informed that the carrier medium in the form of live adult cocks brought by passengers on the ship to Ambon.

On 27-31 July 2010 held at the Center for Standard Test of Agricultural Quarantine (CSTAQ), Jl. Pemuda No.  64 Kav. 16-17, Rawamangun, it had been carried out Training on Quality Management System.

Coinciding with the task activities of the Director-General of the Agricultural Quarantine Agency (AAQ) in North Sumatera on 23 July 2010, it had been submitted ISO 1900-2008 Certificate from the Institute of International Quality Certification to Technical Operational Units (UPT) in North Sumatra, namely: Agricultural Quarantine Major Service (BBKP) of Belawan, Agricultural Quarantine Service (BKP) Class II of Medan, and Agricultural Quarantine Station (SKP) Class I of Tanjung Balai Asahan.
