Wednesday, 24 February 2010 taken place at the Office of BKP Class II of Tarakan, quarantine measures had been carried out against carrier media of animal quarantine diseases in the form of materials of animal origin (BAH).
Carrier media were detained and secured by agricultural quarantine officers led by drh. Titin Qomariyah in coordination with Badik Task Force (Dantim)/TNI BAIS, Tarakan City KPPP officers and officers of Customs Service ,Office of the City of Tarakan who were in the dock at the Port of Malundung when quarantine inspections were conducted on KM. Monday, 01 March 2010, Agricultural Quarantine Officer in collaboration with Customs Officers of Mail Processing Center of Bandung Post Office, found a package of clothing shipments from the Dutch in which contained 54 seeds/seedlings of plants. Due to the seeds/seedlings were the Agricultural Quarantine commodities, then coordination was made between Agricultural Quarantine Station (SKP) Class I of Bandung and Customs Office to identify the seeds/seedlings so they could be clearly known whether the seeds/seedlings were a prohibited importation commodity or not.
